I have to say that I felt extremely comfortable with the way interview was conducted, and not all interviewers do the same. That is a must in order to get a certain depth and fluency in the interview process, and is therefore an invaluable quality that the interviewer definitely possess!
I loved hearing the talk, and I have gotten excellent feedback from other listeners, including my former piano professor, Sara Davis Buechner, who even wanted to save it as an mp3!
I also listened the other podcasts from Évora, and I think the ensemble is extremely valuable. It makes visible the cultural dynamics of the city, and that is something absolutely essential for a Capital of Culture. The ensemble of the podcasts is like a sample, or a showcase, of what the city lives in terms of culture and creativity! This program is, in my perspective, an important endeavor!
Thank you again for the commitment and meaningful contribution to the cultural life of Évora.

I had the pleasure of connecting with Mika through his research on Mozambican electronic music. During his research, Mika came across Nandele, who collaborated with Lenna Bahule, who collaborated with me on the EP REVOADA, along with Muhamago (featuring illustrations by Cristina Viana). Parental advisory: Exploring African electronic music may lead to the discovery of the viola campaniça. This journey highlights the connections that art and culture foster globally, which, in my perspective, should be celebrated by European Capitals of Culture. These connections are clear in these Art Talks.

It was a wonderful experience discussing my music and my work with the viola campaniça with the interviewer Mika Oulu. We delved into topics close to my heart, such as identities and nostalgia for the future. I am excited about the insightful Art Talks recorded in Évora, featuring artists and other cultural figures. These talks not only showcase the city's cultural diversity to the outside world but also reintroduce artists and activists to the local community. This fosters a fresh and intimate perspective, offering a new glimpse from within. Thank you, ECCAT, for this opportunity.
